For The Love Of Trees operates out of a deep passion for the Pacific Northwest environment and its beautiful, lush urban forest. We are honored to have been stewards of Portland’s urban forest for over 15 years and proudly continue to support its legacy with mindfulness, experience and dedication.

Our professional and community affiliations further these ideals. We are professionally affiliated with the ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) to stay current on new developments in tree care, and we support community partners who further the care of our urban forest such as Friends of Trees and Hoyt Arboretum.

Our ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) Certified Arborists prescribe proper tree care. ISA Arborist Certification requires years of experience and extensive tree knowledge. Continuing education is required to maintain certification. This enables us to ensure that the tree work is completed to the highest standards on every job.

About the Owner of For The Love Of Trees

Jeremy is an ISA Certified Arborist (PN-6849A) and is also ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified.

Jeremy Fry, ISA Certified Arborist (PN-6849A) and owner of For The Love Of Trees, first recognized his interest in arboriculture in his Portland backyard with his annual orchard pruning of an old apple tree that was planted by the previous home owner decades earlier. Maintaining this tree over the years became a cherished winter ritual that allowed him the chance to be outdoors and care for a legacy tree.

Jeremy has been working professionally with trees for over 17 years — beginning his career working for a local tree service provider in Portland dragging brush, assisting climbing arborists, and eventually becoming a climbing arborist himself. After 2 years of learning the business and gaining experience, Jeremy ventured out on his own and started For The Love Of Trees in 2007.
