For The Love Of Trees operates out of a deep passion for the Pacific Northwest environment and its beautiful, lush urban forest. We are honored to have been stewards of Portland’s urban forest for over 18 years.
As a professional tree service serving Portland, Beaverton, and Lake Oswego, we approach every project with mindfulness, experience, and a commitment to responsible tree care.
Our professional and community affiliations support these values. We are professionally affiliated with the ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) to stay current on new developments in tree care. We also support community organizations that help strengthen our region’s urban forest, such as Friends of Trees and Hoyt Arboretum.
Certified Arborists and Professional Tree Care
Our ISA Certified Arborists prescribe proper tree care for every project. Achieving ISA Arborist Certification requires years of professional tree care experience, extensive tree knowledge, and ongoing continuing education. This certification ensures every service we provide follows established arboricultural standards and supports the long-term health of your trees.

Jeremy is an ISA Certified Arborist (PN-6849A) and is also ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified.
About the Owner
Jeremy Fry, ISA Certified Arborist (PN-6849A) and owner of For The Love Of Trees, first recognized his passion for arboriculture in his own Portland backyard. Each winter, he pruned an old apple tree planted decades earlier by the previous homeowner. Caring for this tree became a cherished annual tradition and sparked a deeper interest in the art and science of tree care.
Jeremy has been working professionally with trees for over 20 years. He began his tree care career with a local Portland tree service company, starting by dragging brush, assisting climbing arborists, and eventually becoming a climbing arborist himself.
After gaining experience and learning the trade, Jeremy founded For The Love Of Trees in 2007 to provide thoughtful, professional tree care throughout the Portland area.
