For The Love Of Trees Arborists Help Out At Hoyt Arboretum

For years, the arborists of For The Love Of Trees have volunteered their time and expertise to care for the trees of the Hoyt Arboretum. Every September, arborists from across the Portland area work together on tree care projects all over the 190 acre arboretum in an event called “Arborists in the Arboretum”. This year, For The Love Of Trees arborists applied their expertise to the pruning of an Atlas cedar and a Cyprian cedar. The careful maintenance of the highly valued tree specimens of the arboretum will benefit the trees and generations of visitors to come.

The Hoyt Arboretum is a unique treasure of the Portland area. Trees from all over the world grow in the west hills of Portland in a carefully curated collection. We are proud to support the efforts of the Hoyt Arboretum to educate the public about trees and conserve endangered trees.
